I am a veteran teacher and animal lover.   Growing up in the north, I have always cherished animals and have found peace in just being around them.   My involvement in rescue work began when I relocated to GA and saw the plight of our companion animals here in the CSRA.   I saw so many abused, neglected and homeless animals that were suffering and I just knew I had to do something.   I started assisting local shelters and rescues by organizing donation drives and my work eventually transitioned into fostering.   While I foster as often as I can and continue to organize and support donation drives, I also truly enjoy my fundraising role with TWFAF.
